Desert Tortoise (Gopherus agassizii)

So obviously not a wild one. Went by my grandmothers today (there was pie!) and he is just waking up from hibernation. She used to breed these for the Joshua Tree conservatory back when they were endangered. I vaguely remember him hatching when I was a little kid. The turtles now 28 years old (they can live up to about 100 in captivity). Really neat little turtle.
