DEVIL BIRD!

[K9Kirk]

Devil bird is just one of it's names. It's usually called an Anhinga but it's also called a snakebird, darter, American darter, or water turkey. Interesting how they hunt in the water with their bodies under water and just their head and necks exposed to give the snakelike appearance. Love the devilish red eyes.

Thanks everyone and yes, it is definitely a cool bird. Maybe I'll get lucky with a pic of one hunting some day.

They look quite a bit like a cormorant except for those evil-looking eyes.
