actually I think they are too light...no depth to the shadows... or much seperation between shadows and midtones.. Levels in PS will fix that!
 
Thank's ya'll. I was really worried about #3. I need to find a new photo host. Shutterfly likes to crop my pictures and this is the first time that I've had a brightnes problem. Skyler isn't as "bright" in my original. I don't know why it did that.

I really like the composition in #2. It'll be your best one if the levels are fixed as previously suggested!
 
Cute shots. I think you captured his personality in them. There are a couple of things that don't work for me (asside from the contrast mentioned). The wide-angle distortion in #2 and the obvious on-camera flash in #3. These are both things that are common in "snapshots" and tend to detract from images for me. There's a place for wide angle lenses, but I think it's best to have a specific intent to use them for portraits.
