Not great composition and not too much in focus.
I can forgive the focus with an interesting shot, but I'm not getting much from this personally.

What was it about this scene that made you want to shoot it this way?

I liked the trees in the background with the path and the way they faded out with the fog. I will agree though, that it isn't a very strong shot. It was shot at high iso as well, originally it was softer i kicked up the contrast in post maybe i shouldn't have. shot at f14 reaching for the other side (not so much the dock itself)

yeah i should have left the contrast down. i like this better. softer, peaceful.
still, not a strong shot i guess i just liked it.

So I see some elements under the dock that could have made for an interesting composition. I think this is a subject worth exploring further.

naaa. That was a different dock with her...
Her name was Tracy. Good times however she was anything but peaceful.
