Does anyone have the following lens

Canon EF 100-400mm F/4.5-5.6 L IS USM Len

Are you happy with the lens?

Do you find 400mm sufficient (Wildlife photography)

Do you use an extender?

Do you wish you had purchased a different lens?

I have used this lens, both the V1 and V2.
V1 isn't one that I'd recommend. It is showing it's age and most third party lenses have caught or surpassed it. On top the push pull zoom system has a tendency to allow more dust inside versus the more common ring style zoom.
The version 2 is a solid lens but at it's price point you could have 70-200 2.8 and a 400mm 5.6.

That will be why there are a lot of second hand Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM Lens for sale I guess

Yes. The version number usually located right after the L designation.
