Imaginative, but that mail box distracts me. Try cloning an area from the other door to hide it and you'll have a very nice image.

Nicely symmetric. Beautiful doors.
It could do with a tad more highlights, is what I feel ... I'd try. But you need not, of course, if THIS is how you wanted your photo to be.

Awesome. I love everything about this.

If it was me I would photoshop out the letterbox on the right door, maybe copy a bit from the left door over it.

Nice one!

Thanks folks.

I removed the letter box to the best of my ability. Have no idea how to add a little more highlight to it LaFoto, other than curves but i couldn't get it to look good.

Here's the fixed version:

Wonderful expression.

Wonderful capture I like it! If you have photoshop you can go to image -> adjustments -> Highlight and shadow. With that you can either boost or calm down highlights.

I think that you should keep the letter box for sure because it makes the photo much more interesting and was there when he took it.

I love this photo! I mean WOW! Where was this taken? Is this a real place or did you duplicate one of the doors?

Most excellent subject, and perfect for a black and white image!

Great capture! I also prefer the mailbox - it adds character.

Thanks for the comments. I prefer not to manipulate my images as much as possible but on the other hand i think i prefer it without the box, meh, who knows.

Real doors from some building in Edinburgh, on the Royal Mile.

love the original one you posted. I would defo leave the letterbox in it. It kinda loses something in the perfection of not having a anything in it.

I have still not seen said letterbox... I feel like I am missing out!!
