After tramping through Hampshire last night I popped along to Win Green to snap the sunset looking out toward Shaftsbury.

Excuse my ignorance, but what's a gallery wrap?

very nice.

its looks great (#2) but whyd you choose 200mm for a landscape shot?

i would have never thought to do it

Wide-angle landscapes are great when you've got something interesting in the foreground and a big, dramatic sky or mountain to fill the rest of the frame. But when the scene is lacking I find that the longer lens allows me to pick out an interesting subject from an otherwise boring landscape. With the first image try to picture it without the gate or if the grey clouds were not there. It would have been a boring shot with a band of orange across the middle. But the 200mm lens works no matter what.
Anyway, I'm glad you liked it...I was pleased with the way they both came out.
