Down on the Corner

Thanks to all! Some context...Kensington Market is a grand old immigrant 'hood in Toronto. Transitioned from largely Eastern European Jews, to Portuguese, Italian, West Indian, and Chinese. Home to one of Toronto's oldest schul, the Anshei Minsk. It's managed to repel redevelopment and here's hoping it wins. A scrappy place but still full of small businesses, ethnic groceries, cafes, restos, pop-up bars and cultural spaces. Long may it wave...

A lot to see here, nice one. Thank goodness we greet others with hand shake or a wave 🤣
