Yes. It depends upon the lens and the camera body. For instance, I shoot Nikon. I have what is called a FTZ adaptor (F-mount to Z-body or mount). It allows me to use most Nikon lens on my Z-bodies. So it varies with the body and the specific lens.

Canon mirrorless cameras have an adaptor - check that third party lens particulary 150-600 work fine though
