I use this one. It's comfortable and I am comfortable letting it hang without support for a while (can let go of a gripped 7d with Tamron 150-600 attached).

The price is right and it does not tie up the tripod screw.

I use one of the very early model Carry Speed sling straps and love it. The heaviest rig I have is my gripped D7000 with my old all metal 80-200 2.8 hanging off it. The lens alone weighs around 3 lbs. The whole rig together If I remember correctly is nearly 6 lbs. Only issue I've noticed is that when using that setup I can actually feel movement between the grip, and camera body due to the weight of the lens hanging off it as this particular lens doesn't have a tripod foot. Most modern heavy lenses have a tripod foot, and it is best to attach to that when using the heavier lenses.

You ever have any issues with the connector loosening at all when using it? That is my fear. I have an earlier model Carry Speed and the connector that I have is a metal plate that screws into the camera and the strap is then attached to the plate. Is that the type of connector you have?

I have had an early Carry Speed for a couple of years and have had no trouble at all with it. I use it with a D5100 and 18-200 or 10-24 (my heaviest lenses) and nothing has ever loosened.
