Buds!
All those promises that are in buds.
I love them for that very reason!
And an echinacea flower is going to be so beautiful in the end. You will have lots more photo ops with this flower :D.
And that drop of water ... precious! Brilliant! Super focus, steady hand. Very well done! I like them both - and the bud really JUMPS out of the second version! :D

that was my exact intention in the second one...wanted it to pop from the pic!

yea its a tough call jon...... i think just as a photograph in the collection i like the first...... but as an image, like for a large wall poster or something, i prefer the second, it just has more impact and appeal. :thumbup:

i pretty much agree with everyone so far... the first one is a great image all on it's own, but the water droplet really pops in the second one. both are terrific. :thumbup:

I'm liking the first one best overall, but I like the intensified colors in the second.
