I love both shots,
the first one is more contrasty and it goes well with the straight lines of the surrounding architecture
The second one is softened by the rosy tones of the sunset.
the composition is nice
I am leaning toward the first one for my preference, probably because of the darker water color.

Nice shots. I agree. I also like the contrast of #1
