Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I know many people use Lightroom and CS6 together and they get along pretty good. I have been using LR for a few years and have been thinking about buying Photoshop. I know these two programs get along pretty good. The only problem is the $$$. I am wondering if elements would be a good alternative.
Q #1. Does Elements get along with Lightroom or am I going to get all #@!!:x?
Q #2. Does Elements work with RAW files?
Thanks

Elements Camera Raw and Lightroom's Develop module use the same Raw edit software - Adobe Camera Raw (ACR).
Since Elements is consumer grade, ot's version of ACR is de-featured - Adobe Camera Raw differences between Photoshop and Photoshop Elements
Yes. Elements is a tightly integrated with Lightroom as CS 6 is.

The only trouble is Elements can't do 16-bit edits. Elements can only do 8-bit edits, and Elements only has about 30% of CS 6's compliment of tools, features, and functions.
