5 Shots handheld at 18mm with my old (and currently manual focus only kit lens). Stiched in PS CC and final processing including a lot of distortion correction in Lightroom. I'm not sure I've quite got this one right so some C&C would be great if you have the time.

my first thought was - shadows are too strong. maybe brighten them a bit?

Thanks mmaria. I did wonder about that and actually brought them down a little in post as the last few shots I've taken have been a bit flat. Good to know if it's too much though.

I think if I were to shoot this again I'd include more sky, there is a bit too much foreground for my liking and I'd shoot it at a longer focal length to reduce the compression of the mountains too. I think I could have got a better angle too, crouched down a bit more to alter the perspective on the ground

I would agree. Although you do need some foreground "anchors", the sky looks interesting, at least what we can see of it, but I really like clouds in a landscape as they can often make a good landscape even better. Please post one with clouds if you decide to do it.

Try composing such that the foreground rocks are not centered. I think positioning the camera lower would also help.

Thanks mate, I too like a few clouds in my scenes which is lucky as we have plenty of them here. I really liked how these ones seemed to be clinging to the mountain tops though above that it was rather boring clear skies which is partially why I didn't pay enough attention to it.

Thanks mate, I should have noticed that too, the foreground lines would have been a lot better if I had moved slightly to my right.
