Real nice set there. #1 is funny as hell but #2 with the "over the shoulder" glamor pose won me over. Or, was it saying, "Take a shot of this, buddy!"

That's on one bad boy bull elk. Hope you where safely behind your car our far away w/ long lens. They can attack w/o notice and they're fast.

This was actually a mile or into a hike. We had to go off trail a bit to keep a relatively safe distance. These were taken with a 200mm lens and cropped (except for the last one which gives you a better idea of the distance). So no, I wasn’t quite as close at it looks. (Lived in Colorado for several years now and we have a resident elk herd in my home town so we’ve learned the proper protocol unlike some tourists.)
