Cute. I think it's a little dark so you almost don't even see the shoes, but the color of the lighting and the sky is almost hypnotic.

Sadly, I think that blip of civilization on the right-hand horizon is just a hair distracting. I wish it wasn't there. It breaks the mood of the sky.

Thanks Chris. I thought about cloning the lights I am glad you brought them up. I will also look into brightening it, could be my monitor.

I think that if you played around with curves, you could bring out some of the more subtle details while retaining the general "look" of this image. Interesting composition and I like the general placement of the shoes, although they look a little too "neat" to me. I'd have preferred a more random scattering of them to give it a more natural feel rather than the intentional placement. Great work though!

I think it's a very nice image. I actually like that it is so neat and clean, because it works so well in bringing the peacefulness through.

I love it. Probably my weird side stepping in here but with the shoes there, I think if you threw a stone in to create a radial ripple in the water it may have been cool, as if the guy jumped in.. dunno (i dare say it was a long exposure so i don't know how that would have worked)


Nice image all the same, very peaceful. I agree with manaheim though about the lights.
