I just returned from a 2D 1N trip to Cameron Highlands, Malaysia. Cameron Highlands is a highland region located about 214 km north of Kuala Lumpur, in Pahang, Malaysia. At 5,000 ft (1,500 m) above sea level it is the highest area on the mainland, enjoys a cool climate, with temperatures no higher than 25 °C and rarely falls below 12°C year-round. Here are some photos I've taken during my trip: Picture 1 - The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step I climbed up this concrete bench at the peak of the 360° viewpoint to 'capture' the strong wind. @ 360° Viewpoint in BOH's Tea Estate, Habu Picture 2 - Up, Close & Personal A personal detour to discover the tea estate UP, CLOSE AND PERSONAL. @BOH's Tea Estate in Habu. C & Cs are most welcome! Cheers! mylo
Picture 3 - What's this??? IT'S HUMONGOUS!!! I was holding a piece of cabbage leaf. It's bigger than my brother's 22 inch LCD monitor! @Veggie Farm Picture 4 - Tasty Tomatoes Abundant Tomatoes are DIRT-CHEAP in Cameron Highlands. @Veggie Farm Picture 5 - The Tea Plantation Different shades of green is visible in the estate. @BOH's Tea Estate in Habu All comments are most welcome!! The Cameron Highlands is a lovely place, I was there in 99....such a nice relief from the humidity and chaos of KL. I like the valley shot the best and would like to see more.....the other two shots certainly emphasise the green. I only have memories, as my camera was stolen by a taxi driver in Singapore.
