Oct 13. The protective mom was seen chasing away an ant that got too close to her eggs.

Oct 27 - only spiderlings' molts left on the leaf. Mom and spiderlings have moved on!

Very cool series there. I think the shot from above with all the spiderlings is a very strong picture in and of itself, but made better by knowing more of the story.
