I hadn't seen this guitar in years. We were visiting my dad last week and he had my old guitar in the corner of his "man cave". I figured I might as well bring it home. Pretty soon my girls will be old enough to start playing anyway.

Yep. I folded a series of Ouji boards into a large pentagram under the guitar. Worked like a charm.

Actually I don't have a stand for it, so I had it hung from a background light stand via some bailing wire wrapped around the strap lugs, with the bottom resting on a gag gobo grip head handle. It was a bit unsightly so I snipped it out.

It's a beautiful shot. Great lighting, perfect background choice. Just awesome.

But the floating thing seems a little strange to me for some reason. Maybe it's normal for guitar shots- no idea.

It's a great shot in terms of product selling. I.e if you displayed it on a website as a general shot (such as amazon) to sell this guitar from a macro view it would be great.
