You need to use a bigger aperture to blur out some of the distractions in the background bur apart from that you have got the angle riders like

Now im back home i have had a look at the exit on fickr and the last one was at F4.8 which is about right to get horse and rider in the DOF but because you used 50mm focal length it has not blured the background , i would be using 200-300mm it is also a bit soft

Not sure you had to add the copyright information and unapproved circulation to these images. The backgrounds really are just a little too sharp, especially on the last one. I know being in the right position is really important for jumping, straight on being that position, but you may have been restricted in where you could be. The first frame the fence in the background doesn't look real, was it photoshopped? However the first one is pretty good. Second one, horizon line on the fence is crooked, just a little straighten would fix that. The last image just has way too much going on in the background, a tighter crop would take some of it out and help.

I did have to end it out the rear end of a pickup truck in the first photo. I guess someone thought that was a great place to park it. "All these photo's are under copyright. Unapproved circulation is prohibited" I do that just so people can't say i didn't know i wasn't allowed to use this. I don't want my photo to end up in some advertisement. I have had some trouble before.

Well if someone is looking to use one of these for an advertisment, you are better off adding it, I'm just not sure the quality of the images really warrants anyone wanting to steal them, but better safe than sorry.
