Equipment Failure

So there I was out in one of the sun rooms puttering around with the camera and I looked outside and saw a stream of "smoke" rising from the solar panels (they heat water)... holy crap!!!

I grab the fire extinguisher throw on Mr. Rabbit's boots and run. When I get there it has stopped.... wtf?....

Upon further inspection I see that the hose is bulging where the "smoke" was coming from. I watch for a bit and it starts again... the hose joining two panels has blown and it is super hot water and steam coming out of it. I took a few shots while I pondered what the heck to do since I'm home alone and we are still becoming familiar with the workings of stuff like the solar. After a little look around I found the right tap to drain some water and release the pressure... crisis averted! *phew!*
