From a technique standpoint, I think that, in this case, that the slanted window frame only adds to the power of the image as a subliminal symbol.

Thanks guys. I missed focus by a few centimeters (I had 21 mm manual focus lens on my Oly) but it's not too visible because of the greater DOF.

You should see where he lives. I've been in a few places where poor people live, but this is awful. Not only it's old, it's a mess, like a bomb was dropped in there...But hell, if I survived what he did (told me a story of witnessing raping of a dead girl after the child was taken from her womb), I'd probably be in a loony bin.

That whole impression makes this photo strong for me. I know it can't be that good for the others, but that's my fault as a photographer.
