I tied a string around a wood frame that holds up some vines in my back yard, and then tied the other end of the string around the balloon and just let it hang there.
I auto focused on the balloon then switched to manual focus.
I practiced a few times with the timing....
swinging the knife (not hitting the balloon) and pressing the trigger at the same time.
then after i though i had the timing down, when I hit the balloon, i pressed the shutter release button.
knife in the right hand, shutter in the left...

No remote... actually i tired but couldn't get the timing down, so I just used my fingers..

Also, I got a few drops on the camera but nothing much
