A couple of months ago, I wrote to Peter Turnley to ask if I could use an image of his for a discussion piece. He replied quickly and nicely and then put me on his email list.
Shortly thereafter, there was a message on The Online Photographer about Peter's new book coming out and so I signed up for a signed copy.
Just got it.
And it is truly magnificent.
The book is "French Kiss - a love letter to Paris.
It came is a beautiful slip case, the reproduction is marvelous and the book is as good a book of pictures as I have ever seen.
Bound to be a classic collectible.
I might buy another to handle and just keep this one intact for the beauty of the presentation alone.
This is his site Peter Turnley
and these are two of the images, not in the book, that just bowled me over when I saw them.
