Thank you. I tried brightening it up a bit, but I didnt like the way it looked with the LE. Made the water look over exposed.

Thank you. I tried brightening it up a bit, but I didnt like the way it looked with the LE. Made the water look over exposed.

I thought that might end up being the case.

Not bad. I agree with MichaelHenson that it is a little dark. For me, it is also cropped a bit too much (assuming it is cropped). I would like to see a bit more of the bottom of the falls. As for the darkness, I don't know what editing software you are using, but a lot of them will allow you to open up the shadows without too much affect on brightness of the waterfalls themselves.

As for the darkness, I don't know what editing software you are using, but a lot of them will allow you to open up the shadows without too much affect on brightness of the waterfalls themselves.

Surprisingly, the picture actually isn't cropped it all. Here's a shot more with the bottom of the falls. I didn't like this as much because the right side is cropped more than the left. My D70 is a difficult camera to shoot with. The screen is extremely small and low resolution so I almost have to guess what the shot is going to look like just by the view finder and look when I get home. That'll be changing very shortly when I get a new FF body.

I like the fist one better as you can see the over exposed sky.. Both are nice shots though.

Now, I am not sure which image I like better. They both have their merits. Sorry about the camera , can't wait to see how you do with the full frame.
