This is the US flag flying at half staff in honor of SCJ RBG outside the Appalachian Mountain Club visitor’s center in Pinkham Notch, NH. Foliage was close to peak yesterday in northern NH. It was glorious and I can’t wait to download the rest of my pics from my road trip. I expect this to be a very fast foliage season around here. It’s at least 1-2 weeks earlier than usual and the peak foliage map seems to be an almost perfect overlay of the extreme drought map. The colors won’t last.
