Puzzling but beautiful.

Thanks- Much of the basin is still a mystery to geologists. I was up there late last month and it was seething with geology students working on solving the history of this unconformity, which is said to resemble the whole of the geologic forces shaping the Mojave Desert.

I will be going up there for a sunset. I dug out this shot made a little over two years ago and did a fresh edit to get in the mindset.

Thank you. Unfortunately it was Earth- in the Mojave Desert part. It's really wierd out there.
