I'm reading through "Light, Science & Magic" right now (Hunter and Fuqua authors), and I have to tell you. I'm not at all pleased that I have to brush up on my High-school trigonometry to better understand light. not surprised mind you, but not happy.
To everyone struggling with light, I'm going to recommend this book. Im only a few chapters in, and its really taking a lot of mystique out of the properties of light, and how to use it to your advantage..... both strobe and ambient.
Seriously.... two thumbs up.
