I absolutely love your shots, they are absolutely gorgeous! But why the blueness in the first picture? It would have looked so much better naturally, at least in my mind it does. I'd leave my day job and contact Nat Geo for a job if I could take pics like that

[baturn]

Wonderful! Especially the Red Panda.

Raj, I'm guessing plexiglass? The stuff's a bugger for white balance and colour.

I think my favourite is the flamingo.

That tiger sees a delicious, very rare steak on the other side of that glass!

love those shots! very good dof.

[Bamps]

Great shots, the clarity of the eyes is good, overall, good job. My fav though is the gorilla mama and her baby.

The Gorilla and baby is my favourite too of all of them. The black and white treatment is really good for that shot and the post and composition is spot on. Great job.

Thank you all for the compliments.

Thank you so much. The blue haze is caused by the scratched glass I was shooting through. I did my best to fix it, but I'm actually quite fond of the "dreamy" look. It's my favorite of them all.

BINGO. See above.

Thank you. It was really my only option. Exposing for the black gorillas caused the tannish background to be completely blown out. I did some work to bring it back down. Thankfully it works well for the moment. It was pure luck that the baby looked at me.

That Gorilla shot is wonderful.

Thank you.

Thanks Bill.
