Again, for me it's all about the expression and the detail. I love this shot down to the single white hair growing out of his cheek.

Looking at the image, I like it. The gentleman may be looking down, or he may be sleeping. In any case, his face may not be pretty, but it is interesting. I like the way the light defines his features, and I like where Lew placed the focus. I might think of upping the contrast a bit, but otherwise, if I had taken it, I'd be pretty happy with the shot.
