You have chosen, in my humble opinion, a very difficult subject to portray. I ahve been trying to portray prairie fields in my photography for years and I am still struggling with how to do it right, but we can discuss that more if you wish to pursue it.

My first look suggested that the horizon is almost right in the middle of each image and in the first one (please number your images), it appears to be slightly tilted to the right.

In the second one, I would have cloned out the "building" as it doesn't fit with the subject.

The problem with putting the horizon line so close to the centre of the image is that the viewer is left to wonder which part of the image is the most important. Since you designated your subject as "Fields", I would expect to see more of the fields and less of the sky.

As for the black and white conversion, I am not sure what it is, but it doesn't look right to me - not enough contrast perhaps. There is no obvious white point, not that there has to be, but I would expect the clouds to be a bit whiter and there is no obvious black point, not that there has to be either, but this just leaves you with a scenic which is just a few shades of grey and I am not sure if there isn't a better way to do the conversion - how did you do it anyway - it is always nice to know how the photographer captured the image and how it was processed.
