I love the color of the sun but it seems to lack contrast overall. Especially in te sky and mountains

This image had no color management.
There were fires on the central coast of California a few years ago and the smoke (lots) drifted up to San Francisco.
I was shooting within the smoke, hence lack of contrast (smoke above fog)
