A couple of photos from the other day. I know they're not perfect, but I've only been taking pictures for little over a month. Never owned a camera before that...I've been missing out.

This next shot is where I stopped off for a coffee and sandwich, the foreground was cast with a ray of sunlight throwing the middle and background into shadow. I have a HDR version of it, but for this one I wanted to emphasise the foreground and only brought back some selective highlights from farther back.

I really like the first one very much.
The second is a pretty picture but I would have put less sky into it. It has cut the frame in half and makes my eyes wonder between sky and land and therefore, not looking at the terrain details as much as you seen them that day. The rule of thirds comes into play here.
One third sky and two thirds land would have brought more detail in the picture.
