First Photos with our Canon 60D

Congratulations on your new Canon 60D. Unfortunately, your pictures are poorly composed. For starters in all but the last picture, your subject is dead center, not the best nor most pleasing way to view a picture. Without going picture by picture, I'll just CC picture #1.

The shadow in the lower left corner is distracting. Remove in Crop.
Not sure that a single leaf with a ant is a really interesting subject they way you're presenting it.

It is the same camera I started with and you will love it. Just listen to what experienced photographers tell you and you will do great. Keep on shooting.

Any helpful ideas and hints from anyone that can make us better we will accept... stay in touch...
