I think the Pearl Vision door shot is super!!!!!!!! That would make a very beautiful image printed on a chrome paper. I truly enjoy the formal,rigid composition!

The first shot, of the yellow lines and the tree branch...not too bad,really. The doll?? Ehhh....throw that one away.

Thank you to everyone that's commented so far. When I took the image of the road, I was trying to capture the feeling of how abandoned it actually was - the lines were fading and chipping away, a tree branch lay in the road with its bark broken up around it, and the foliage along the road was unkempt and wild. I liked the play between the textures and the colors, as someone mentioned earlier in the thread.

I often find myself shooting images that are based mostly on colors and textures, as opposed to any specific "interesting" subject - such as the image of the door and wall. The concrete walls at Manassas Mall are absolutely glorious in the right light.

I'd also like to say that I'm very impressed with the user-base that this forum has. I expected to get absolutely torn apart and told that my images were ****, but everyone has been extremely helpful and pleasant. I look forward to more commentary - especially in threads that I make in the future. Thanks for being awesome!
