Hey everyone, I've been looking at the forum for a while and finally decided to start posting. I'm 14 and I live in South Florida, I've been taking pictures for a couple months now with an old Canon PowerShot Pro 1 that my dad gave me but recently I got a Rebel XSI. Anyway, here are what I think are some of my best pictures:

A random series, but some nice shots in there. I like the glasses, but wished the labels on the base had been removed or turned so as to exclude.

Thanks, actually I just used some white printer paper, it took a while to get it so that you couldn't see the seem between the papers, but I love the way it turned out.

I like the glasses, but wished the labels on the base had been removed or turned so as to exclude.

Unfortunately I hadn't noticed until I had put everything away and I didn't feel like spending the time to set it all up again.

damn now i just feel bad i didnt even know what a camera was at 14....hmmm you know just tossing this out there...im sure 14 y/o chicks like their pics taken haha oh wait sorry maybe shouldnt be giving advice....

The following are just some things that I noticed after a cursory glance through your original post:

There's quite a bit of noise in number 3.

In number 4, the parrot's head blends into the background.

In number 5, nothing is in focus.

Lots of noise in 8.

I think 9 is great, very sharp and clear, but would be better if the subject wasn't centered in the frame.
