Lets say i am really really impressed with the sharpness of this lens. like all the reviews says, it has some barrel distortion at 24mm but nothing to worry about. its ligh and the range is quite perfect.

Lightning:
64 inch parabolic umbrella camera left
40X36 inch softbox high in front of model in center,
Strip box at camera right 180 degree with model.

F8 1/200th at 44mm iso100

WOW, first off. Gorgeous model.

Looks like your lens did you right as well. Love both shots, the simple poses really show off her curvaceousness lol.

ghace,

I feel like there is too much tiny hot spots on her skin (yellow and white spots). Very visible around her chest on 1st pic, and on her abs on 2nd pic. I dont do studio photography so I am not sure if it is related to the lens or the lighting. Can someone explain what I am seeing and what causes it? I see it sometimes on my photos.

There's only a few nitpicky things I see.

One is a little too close. It's like not close enough but not far enough away. And in two it looks like shes pretending to sit... or something?

Not seeing what spots you are talking about.

Nice shots, I have the same lens and not really into it. I like the lighting results.

Shoot well, Joe

I viewed these at max and can't see what Schwetty is referring too. Very pretty model. Not a fan of the glasses on in number two. Glasses with a studio shot and no clothes just seems odd to me. That's just me though.
