the effect is given by the mountains. Every km up is like 2 degrees colder...something like that...I dont' remember, it's been a while since grade 10 weather science.

Anyways...you would probably have a blast in Canada...ahah

i like the picture in your third post the best. i think the color of the clouds with the very definitive base contrast the mountains really well and i like the trees in the foreground.
