Before work today my Mom asked me if I wanted to head to the local marina to birdwatch with her. I said sure, and I'm glad I did! Hundreds of birds! Since it was my first time taking shots of any bird I'm glad there were lots of opportunities. lol
This is just a portion of what was out there!

The rest of the shots can be found here:

All shots were taken in aperture priority f8 and lower with my 18-105 lens.

The shots are all well done, 1, 3 & 5 stand out, #6 is my favorite.

Great BIF shots!!

After spending a week at Myrtle Beach this past week, the canals behind the houses had a male and female swan and lots of ducks. $2014 03 06_6142.JPG$2014 03 06_6155.JPG

1st time, hey? Very nice results.

Great shots! #2 is my favorite. I love the beautiful blue colors you captured in the sky and water.

For some reason, #3 and #5 are very intriguing to me. I can't explain it, but those shots are quite captivating.

You look like an old pro at it. Excellent work! Lee
