First time posting photo's, thoughts welcome!

Hello Everyone.
This is my first time posting any photo's and thought I'd give it a shot. I quite like reading the forum here and looking at other peoples work, as it can be both inspiring and fun to see what other photographers are up to.

The following were taken during my Spring Break trip to Tennessee, thoughts and suggestions are welcome!

I realize this last one is not in Black and White, but figured I would throw it in anyways.

#1. Is the subject the rock or the water? Maybe a tad too dark.

#2 is way too dark.

#3 needs some white balance help, but a good capture of the water.

Sorry, after posting I realized the last two were incorrect versions and have been adjusted accordingly.

The first two i think would work better with color and a longer exposure, depending on the lighting i would either use a ND filter to allow for longer exposures or if the light is low just lower the aperture and do slower shutter speeds.

On the last one i would have cropped out the bridge at the top and of course fixed the white balance, also it feels a little dark so more exposure would defiantly help.

On a side note: the last picture i almost thought it was from here in Hamilton in Canada because we have an identical water fall with the same bridge

I agree that the first one would probably be better in color.

3 would be a better photo with a little PP. It kind of dark (adjust the levels) and the color balance is off.
