So I bought my camera with HDR in mind. This is my first attempt. I know its not perfect by any means but I have only owned my DSLR for 2 weeks now (my first ever DSLR!), I am still learning so any tips and advice would be a big help!

Nice job indeed I can't stand the size restriction of this site at times.
We need it a bit larger people do have larger monitors these days
and higher DPI it does injustice at times to looking at images
at least off a feature or something where the image can be viewed at 1024x780 or something.

Many times, you can go directly to the image's URL and view it there instead of viewing it with the forum's limit here.

Thanks for the comments. I want to touch up some of the blow outs on the rocks but it's not really a captivating picture to start with, so it's maybe a waste of time to do so. I was just messing around at work. This was the first time in 20+ years the spillway was released! I wanted to "go through the motions" just to see how HDR is accomplished. If i ever get a day off work I'd like to go get some better pictures to play with.

Also this picture was resized for Facebook/this forum. If anyone would like a larger size I could post on photobucket or flikr. Definitely looks way better full screen on my 22" monitor. :)
