First try at portrait C&C

This is a first try at portrait, I did not have my tripod with me (I bought a new one, but it was still in the box at home lol).
As usual dont be shy on youre critic, I thrive on it
The picture was done at 125, with a 50-200 zoom lens. the only other lens I own is an 18-55.

It looks good as far DOF and color but I think you were focused in too close, there isno background to draw interest to your picture
