Its all kundalini's fault I'm back!

Went out today despite the cold, wind and rain and the odd patch of blue sky

9. Standing on the top of a bloody big hill in gale force winds trying to hold a 780mm focal length lens steady while this little Kestrel was just hanging in the air. Or.... god I need a bigger lens

Great series of shots - shame about the weather, but still great series

I like 5 since you really do get that idea that he is going to lose his lunch since its so big

Yayyyy, shots from LP!

Love the shots of the duck trying to swallow the fishies! And the colour of the sun hitting the kite is lovely. Glad kundalini got you out shooting. And thanks for posting.

Anty, I should think that "duck" is a grebe...

And wow. Good photos. For one who is totally limited to having a crappy, el-cheapo and BROKEN (!) 70-300mm lens, these are UTTERLY impressive!

As are ALL your photos, and you know that.
They are all great, even in ugly weather!

I so like the action in "How dare you...!?" !!
