Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I logged back into Flickr after a several month hiatus. I was looking forward to sharing my film photos I took but when I logged I surprised to see how photos displayed have changed. Before photos were displayed front and center and everything was below it. Now it has this ugly right sidebar with the title and description along with exif data. The photos have shifted to the left rather than center. This is just a bad design in my opinion, you're welcome to disagree but I like the way it was before. I didn't think it needed to be changed.

The reason why I liked the older design was because I could look at the photo without any distration, it just feels unatural to me. I guess other people just really liked it and so they went ahead with the design change. I don't have much reason to share anymore there.

Mine doesn't do that????? Which tab are you on

I tried to make a new account - I used Flickr in the past - but I keep getting an error message. I've read the same complaint in other places. As if they don't want new members.

I've been seeing that for a month or so.
Yesterday I found I could no longer find the EXIF info for my shots...

Flickr's playing around is continuing to make it worse, but I'll stick with it for the historical comments etc.
I probably won't add any new stuff however!

Just when you click on any photo, that's how mine looks.

Okay now mine is doing something similar on Photostream. However if you scroll down there's more information under.

Yes it sucks. They also changed how albums look.

But I dont want to use instagram/facebook because meta is stealing your work for promotion and feed their AI and change the resolution. So what better alternative?

Mine looks the traditional (correct) way on my windows PC, but the display on my iPhone changed a few months ago.

First World problem. Don't like it? Don't post. Simple.

Nerwin is a long-time poster here, and not a whiner. He was simply asking if others were having the same experience that he was. In fact, some were and some were not.

I'd flip your response to say: if you don't like his question, don't join in the thread, lol.

Not lol, sorry. Opinions vary. Not a petting zoo...If you don't mind, let's avoid ranking bona fides, OK?

The “lol” was because you are a curmudgeon, but you’re OUR curmudgeon. I knew that you are feisty and love a good dust-up, so I figured my comment would be right up your alley, friend. So…. I’ll not retract my lol, but I’ll wish you a fine evening.
