I think it's a fly too, but I couldn't find i in my insect book. Just wondered what others thought.

Great shot! The closest thing I could find in my Audubon insect guide is "Progressive Bee Fly", but even it doesn't seem to hve the wing markings this one has. Hmmmm, maybe it a mutant! lol.

Pretty sure it's a fly. Pretty sure it's a very nice picture! The little pieces of out of focus leaves in front add to the picture. :thumbup:
