Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I like the feel of this. One small nit, those 2 buoys are a bit distracting.

I tried scrolling it up and down to see how it might look with slightly different crops. Looks 'maybe' a bit better to me with some foreground eliminated. It is minimalist, but that's the beauty of it. The bouys add to it, for me. My feeling was that when I scrolled it down on the page, and eliminated 1/2 inch of the foreground there was a point where the "point, jutting out into water" aspect became stronger. I could not improve it in any manner by eliminating from the sky. I think the sky percentage is pretty solid. I like the soft color palette.

Thanks guys.

I waffled about cropping style. Almost went pano crop but decided to leave it uncropped for no particular reason.

Yeah, the pano crop felt "good" to me, but this is also good too, so...

Maine looks beautiful in your photos.

just playing with the crop. might not be worth much

Parts are really nice, others not so much. I dislike taking photos of poverty stricken areas of which we have a lot.

Pano crop. Not sure I am feeling this as much. I like the taller version because it gives more isolation to the point.

I like the original version. I think the up/down proportions actually enhance the minimalist intent. Very nice!

I agree with Derrel here. I would just crop off from the bottom and leave the sky. I think your pano edit keeps the same perspective just "smaller" if you get that I am trying to say. Try cropping about 2/3 of the water/ice off and leaving the top. The colors and processing are spot on. When I use my screen to crop it makes the image that much stronger and still gives that minimalist feeling IMO.

Pretty cool. Thought I'd seen it before then realised I follow you on Flickr.
Original crop it better!

Thanks, it's always nice to meet a fan. ;)

I get confused because everyone has different names on different places.

That's a darn coin toss. Darrel's crop or the original. I really can't decide.

I like it, the original in particular.
