I don't know but I like first one.

Oh man that is really cool. Thanks for going through the archives!!!!!!! :hail:

I just thought they were the coolest things when I was there.

Not dyed. Two different squirrels. And they're quite common around here. I can't vouch for the origin or accuracy of the belief that they are a color variation of the Eastern Grey squirrel, which were introduced to the wet coast along time ago by well wishing but ignorant do-gooders.

Goodness, Brian: It was a joke. They have black squirrels in the northern U.S. also. Lee

A squirrel?! Really?!

it's funny how you get so accustomed to your environment. When my wife moved out here the first thing she said was "Look at the mountains!" And herr I am thinking "so?"

For me it was not just a squirrel, it was a black squirrel. Nearly 50 years until I saw my first one in beautiful Vancouver, BC.

I said the same thing about mountains when I moved from Missouri to California.

Travelling is a wonderful thing isn't it? Experiencing different places, people and cultures really opens up your mind. Glad you spotted a black squirrel while up here :)
