My wife leaving her job this summer to take care of the newest addition to our family has forced me to cut my hobby count, to both free up spare time and funds :) Photography is one of the ones on the chopping block (I'll give up a kid before getting rid of any of my RC planes), and hence I'm putting up for sale some of my least used items.
Both lenses are in pristine condition. The Tokina has a few hours on the camera, if that, and the Tamron not much more. I have everything supplied, including boxes, hoods, case (in the case of the Tamron) and included paperwork. If I dig I might be able to find the receipts as well (both were purchased from B&H fall 2008).
I was 10 seconds away from putting this up on Ebay when I realized me fees would be over $100, so I'm trying the forum first.
Asking $610 shipped UPS ground continental US for each, paypal only. Near as I can tell from completed Ebay auctions these prices are reasonable. If you think not, let me know.

I also have some items that I have no idea how to price, including a Tamron 300F-FNs 2x teleconverter, a Sigma 15-30mm f/3.5-4.5 (both for Nikon) and a SB-600 flash. All items are pretty much mint, with all included accessories, boxes and paperwork. Feel free to make an offer on these or give me some idea of what to ask for them.
See my member gallery for some quick and dirty photos of the actual products I took when I was going to post them on ebay.

I realize the more sensible of you might be slightly unnerved by a brand new member posting loot for sale, so I'll be happy to supply credentials to whoever is interested (ebay name, full name and address, weight of current navel lint etc.)

Have you thought about trying out your local Craigslist? I'm assuming you are in the U.S., but you might want to state a location so that shipping fees can be considered. This is an international forum.

In any case, most aren't going to buy online from a new member. It's like you pointed out. With no history, it's tough to make a sale.

If I were you, I would place a local craigslist ad and try to sell face to face.

Just my .02.

Yeah I already thought of that. Unfortunately my local Craigslist (Blacksburg, Virginia, USA) has 11 kinds of chickens for sale for every kit lens so I'm not optimistic. And yes, the selling stuff as a forum newbie is a long shot but I thought I'd spend the 10 min to make this post rather than swallow the Ebay fees without a fight.
Thanks for your input!

Lowering price to $550 each shipped continental US. If no takers by tomorrow afternoon they're going on Ebay and I'll post the links here.
