Clearly nothing to do with projects to find water on the moon :lmao:

But don't worry that's not just NASA with that sense of timing. I read in the news paper that employees of the company I work for were going to strike a day before they sent out an internal email. :lol:
 
I sati n class, wasted an hour in which I could have finished course work... and didn't even see anything!!!!!!!!!
I thought it was at 11:30 am my time, turns out it was 12:30pm...
and I had left college by then!!!!
Anyone got the video? I wanna see it!

I watched a video of it, you didn't really miss anything. Just a white flash, then nothing...

Yeah I'm disappointed that the centaur stage hitting the moon didn't create a fantastic plume. Well apparently it did, it was picked up on all kinds of sensors, there just wasn't anything visible, not from the LCROSS feed I saw anyway. Maybe in a few days some observatory feeds will be up that show something a bit more... well more.
