Foray into the BW realm.

I love BW, yet I've never experienced much with it. Mostly because I find that crisp BW shots just don't have the proper feeling.

Suddenly I figured "Why not crank up the ISO to induce noise, i.e, film grain?" and Voila!

Out of the 100 or so pics, this one really takes the cake. I would appreciate critique. As for BW I go for an older look / feel. In this case, a smidgeon of 60ies (as perceived by '87 stock). Anyways, I'm pretty sure the Jean chair is from that era. As for the brick wall, that's just cool.

i think its a nicely executed image to try and mimic black and white film. the model is quite pretty too. good posing.

but i guess i'm getting the overall flatness still to what digital portrays. i'd say venture into investing in a black and white film camera and slapping in a roll of ilford or fuji neopan 400. it'll be like butter ;]
